ungrouping objects

is difficult, at best. 97% of the time, the info/function box doesn’t pop up. I just need to get lucky more, I guess.

Hi, thnx for the remark, we need to improve this a little bit, I’ll put it on the list.
You can access groups by doubleclicking on them, but there actually should also be the smaller menu that also pops up with normal elements.

we just implemented the small menu for groups; Click on the “i” icon to edit the properties

yea, I figured that out. problem is I can double click until I’m blue in the face and it won’t pop up that menu. Unless it’s been changed/updated in the last 18 hours, that is.

You may have to clear your cache for the small menu to appear for groups. I’m not sure yet why the doubleclick doesn’t work for you; I’ll let you know here if we come across the cause.

Those remarks were added in 2008 and this still isn’t fixed?? I can’t ungroup my table/chairs I grouped a few days ago. Any help on this? 2014-06-26 05:04

We have this small menu with 3 icons also for groups implemented for some time now. by clicking the ‘i’, you should get the item/group properties where you can ungroup. It doesn’t appear?
btw: Groups are only temporary, so if you save and reload your plan the groups should be gone. I checked your plan here and none of the items were grouped.

My problem is different. I had to create trapezium tables with 6 chairs around. So each table is 7 items. I had to make 120 of them. As you say, after saving all the items are ungrouped, meaning I can drag 860 items.
Is there an option to keep items grouped? Or select a large amount of items so we can delete them at once, without in my case have to select 860 items?
