I took all my measurements in straight inches. Is there a way to change the settings so it only shows in inches and not in feet & inches. Or do I have to convert all my measurements?

Hi Ashley,
No I’m sorry that’s not possible yet. You’ll have to do it manually. Thanks for the feedback.

kind regards,

Changing this would be very nice. Currently if measured in inches (which is typical). The user must convert to feet then multiply the decimal to get the feet and inches.

+1 for this also. Having constantly convert between inches and feet/inches is really complicating things. I am tempted just to use metric and have centimeters as my inches, but then I know the real sizing would be off.
Thanks, dave

how to change from meter to feet.. 2014-01-17 20:32

I am very disappointed that you can’t add dimensions in inches. It is a must for an accurate floor plan.

Yes, that would be a really handy feature. However, those blasting FloorPlanner on this lack of feature should realize that about 95% of countries in the world use the metric system. Unfortunately for the few of us (USA, Canada, UK, and a few others) still using the dated Imperial system, it makes things harder.
