Click on the Settings icon; third icon from the left in the top bar. A menu should apear with up to 5 floor names and a link “add floor”. A tutorial is not yet available for the beta version, but we’re working on it. Some issues are dealt in the F.A.Q.

Is this feature specifically for adding separate floors? I guess it may be a work in progress, but it would be nice to see where stairs, external walls etc. are located in other levels, so that things can line up.
Also notice that when viewed in 3D view, stairs do not have a “height” – they appear flat on the ground. Something being worked on I guess?

Hello Chuq,
Stairs in 3D are on our to-do list. Duplicating designs to other floors may help with lining up items and will soon be available.

I created a second floor by duplicating the first before I realized that there was a way under the settings tab. Now I have two designs that are separate projects, but I want to combine them as first and second floor. Is there a way to insert one design as is or do I have to create a second floor through the settings tab and start over?

Great program. I have completed the first floor and I’m trying to move onto the second floor. I cannot figure out how to “duplicate” my first floor. I click on the 3rd icon from the left but there’s only one floor listed and there is no “add a floor” option

If you’re using google chrome or firefox, for some reason it doesn’t have the toolbar. Only works w/ Safari and whatever browsers are available on PCs

I can make a first floor, and then a second floor…but i can’t see both together in 3D mode! How do i see how the two line up in that mode, so I know I’m actually building a second floor on top of the first?

Hi guys I have same problem with second floor. But I realizad that playing with the elevation propierty of the objects you can make a second floor together with the plant; first floor. If the first floor has an elevation of 2.8 mt, all the objects that belong at second floor must has an elevation of 5.6 mt (double).

yes you can!
at the top of the screen where it has the name of your floor, “<”/w 3 bubbles on the ends of the sideways “V”, a picture of a printer, a picture of a rench, & a picture of a dark-colored arrow pointing down,….click the arrow next to the name of the floor (ex. main floor, 2nd floor, attic, etc.), then it will have “the name of your floor, picture of 2 blank papers & a trashcan”, click the picture of the 2 blank papers. & it will duplicate it

TO DUPLICATE THE FIRST FLOOR, hover the cursor in the “down” arrow near the name of your first floor. 2 icons will appear: duplicate and trashbin (delete). Click on the DUPLICATE icon and a box or message will appear. Notice the second tab :
TO FLOOR: ________ (INSERT THE DESIRED FLOOR HERE). lastly, click duplicate. :)

The first and the second floor are built separately.

If you want to connect them into one builging, you must edit the height for each of the elements (surface, chairs, bed, walls, windows,door…..)… simply place the surface (or any element) of the second floor onto the first floor, click on it, select Edit height and set up the height. It means that if you have the first floor 3 meters high, you have to edit the surface (floor) of the second floor to 3 meters. This way you will see both floors connected….. hope this helped….
